William Hamilton Shaw 's family was invited to the unveiling ceremony in Eunpyueung Peace Park by the Korean government. Before two days  of unveiling ceremony, Shaw's family visited the Mokwon University Methodist church, William Hamilton Shaw's commemoration Chapel on June 20 on arriving in Korea. Shaw's family members are daughter-in-law Carole Cameron Shaw, grandson William Cameron Shaw, Kathleen Banner and Elizabeth Wright (two daughters of Roberta Shaw),and Korean War veteran Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodriquez accompanied.

  Seoul's Eunpyueng Office has built a special park and monument  to commemorate Lt. William Hamilton Shaw fought in the Korean War, making the 60th anniversary of the war's breakout. The monument was unveiled  at a ceremony at Eunpeung Peace Park on June 22, 2010. Family members as well as political figures such as Unification Minister Hyun In-Taek and Rep. Park Jin attended the unveiling ceremony.
