Welcome Stephen Shaw and Virginia Shaw to Korea ! Judge Stephen R. Shaw, William Hamilton Shaw¡®s
youngest son, visited Korea with his wife Virginia Korte Shaw, his friend Mr.
Brad Roush (his former law partner) and Roush's wife Judi Roush on May 26 to June 5. His travel to Korea has scheduled for the
Seoul Foreign School anniversary events in Seoul originally, but he has planned
to visit the Shaw¡¯s commemoration park at Eunpyung district in Seoul and Mokwon
chapel in Daejon also. In 2010 he was
invited from ROK government to the unveiling ceremony event of William Hamilton
Shaw¡¯s park with Shaw¡¯s family members, however, his travel had been cancelled
with his wife for sudden his health issue.
Now his health has recovered well so he has planned to visit Korea. This photo album
was consisted of the pictures of Stephen R. Shaw and his party photographed by ROK
Navy photographer accompanied them during his travel in Korea. You will see
Shaw's family visiting Mokwon Methodist Church(in Korean) also.

Eunhae glad to see Stephen Shaw in dinner hosted by Admiral Choi on May 29 at
Seoul Navy Club. Mrs. Hong had
closed to Shaw's family on 1940-50s in Seoul.
Mrs. Hong is the widow of the Late Admiral Sohn OneIl who was in McKinley
Fleets with William Hamilton Shaw until Inchon landing September 15,
1950.

party visited Korean Naval Academy at Jinhae on June 2, 2012. Stephen's father, William Hamilton Shaw was an
instructor of the Korean Naval Academy as a civilian employee of the military
government on 1947 to 1948. Hamilton
Shaw taught students 'seamanship' in Korean speaking fluently. He lived in Chinhae with his wife Juanita
Shaw and two-year-old son William Robinson Shaw until he left for Seoul as an EMC
officer in 1948.
